Man wanted for using stolen card after purse snatching

Police are trying to track down a man who they say stole a woman's purse and tried to go on a mini shopping spree with her credit card.

According to investigators, the suspect grabbed the 22-year-old victim's bag on a 4 train platform at the Mosholu Parkway subway station. It happened back on Mach 30 at around 6 p.m.

They say the man then filled up a dark-colored minivan at a Citgo gas station on Webster Avenue on the victim's dime. After that he and a woman went to a Foodtown supermarket, but the credit card was denied.

The victim was not injured in the robbery. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS
