A boy is in the hospital after a fall from a six-floor building rooftop in Spuyten Duyvil Tuesday.
The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. on Palisade Avenue
The superintendent of the building says surveillance video shows the 12-year-old boy going up to the roof by himself and added that he was not pushed off.
When police initially responded to the scene, they listed the boy as likely to die.
The boy was taken to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. While his condition has not been released, his sister says he is doing well.
