Family looks for woman who disappeared walking dog

Diana Perez was last seen walking her white English pit bull terrier Sunday morning, according to friends and family.

The 42-year-old woman never returned home, but investigators found the dog miles away from her White Plains Road home.

The dog was found tied to a gate at 156th Street and Bruckner Boulevard at around 5 p.m. that afternoon, according to the ASPCA.

Perez has a son whose prom was held Tuesday night, prompting further concerns from those close to the family. They say she wouldn't have missed the event.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call is 1-800-577-TIPS.
