Video shows woman who disappeared walking dog

News 12 has obtained surveillance video of Diana Perez, the Bronx mother who vanished while walking her dog over the weekend.

At around 2:40 p.m. on Sunday, the 42-year-old mother is seen bending over to tie her dog's leash around a standpipe before casually walking away from her dog.

Perez's husband says that his wife would have no reason to walk with her dog almost five miles away from her home, a walk which would have taken her close to 90 minutes to complete.

The family of Diana Perez is thankful for the images captured on the surveillance video, but the video may also have sparked more questions than answers about her whereabouts.

Those who may know anything that can help reunite Perez with her family are urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
