Word on the Street: World Cup parade

After Sunday's 5-2 World Cup win against Japan, New York City will celebrate the U.S. women's soccer team's victory with a ticker-tape parade.
Mayor Bill de Blasio's office says the parade will be held this Friday down the Canyon of Heroes in lower Manhattan. The idea was suggested on Monday by Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer.
The team received a big welcome home with a parade Tuesday in Los Angeles. They are also expected to make a visit to the White House at the behest of President Barack Obama.
News 12 The Bronx hit the streets to ask residents what they think of the Manhattan parade.
