City nears Friday deadline for Pre-K for All signup

The city is nearing its deadline to enroll children in pre-K programs for the fall.

Parents turned out to a Department of Education signup station at Tremont Park Thursday.

The Pre-K for All program has grown since last year, with new schools opening up throughout the city.

Parents who still wish to sign their children up can beat the Friday deadline by visiting the DOE's welcome centers, calling a special pre-K hotline, or applying online.
