Bedford residents rally against neighborhood project

Residents in Bedford Park are rallying against property owner Aaron Solomon about a neighborhood project.

The neighbors are concerned that the project at 3-83 East 198th St. will decrease the value of the neighborhood.

They also claim that Solomon has not been forthcoming regarding the function of the property. They say that they are unhappy about Solomon's plans to have single-room occupancies at the site, which is in opposition with his previous claim to provide housing to veterans.

The neighbors gathered in front of the location with signatures to support their cause.

News 12 reached out to Solomon and is waiting to hear from him regarding his neighbors' concerns.
