Customer opens fire on Bronx bodega clerk

An argument between a customer and a clerk inside a Bronx bodega quickly escalated to gunfire.

Police released surveillance images of the suspect, who they say got into a verbal dispute with the clerk Thursday morning.

Investigators say he was asked to leave the store, located on East 169th Street and Third Avenue, but pulled out a gun and started shooting before running away.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS
