Parade celebrates Central American independence

A celebration was held in the Bronx Sunday to commemorate 194 years of Central American independence.



The Central American Independence Day parade kicked off with plenty of food, arts and crafts and music.



"I think if you look at how many people are here, you can see that we are growing as a community," said Marvin Figueroa, the parade's grand marshal.
