Weather Update: Rain hits the Bronx; tracking Joaquin

Heavy rain is still in the forecast for the Bronx this week after some showers Wednesday, which caused minor flooding in some areas.
Wednesday night into the overnight hours is expected to be mostly cloudy and breezy with a chance of scattered showers. Temperatures will be in the low- to mid-50s. That weather is expected to continue through Thursday.
Heavy rains could be on the horizon for Friday, with temperatures hovering around 60 degrees. Winds could reach 50 mph.
The rain and strong winds will remain through Saturday. For the most part, forecasts show that temperatures will stay in the 60s during the daytime and 50s at night.
News 12 meteorologists are tracking Hurricane Joaquin for a potential impact on this weekend's weather.
As of Wednesday night, Joaquin had strengthened to a Category 3 hurricane.
