Since New York City is known as the melting pot state, residents are used to hearing different languages and accents.
A survey by British Airways had 1,000 U.K. travelers listen to different accents, the New York accent came out on top.
News 12 hit the street to ask borough residents if they agree with the survey's findings.
Many lauded the survey, adding that the different nationalities in New York add to the sexy factor.
Some residents say New York also boasts some of the sexiest people.
