Police search for man wanted for assaulting MTA bus driver

Police are searching for a man wanted for assault on an MTA bus in the Bronx.

Authorities say that earlier this month, the suspect got into an argument with the driver of a Bx12 bus near White Plains Road and Pelham Parkway.

When the bus pulled up to the Pelham Bay Station, the suspect allegedly threw an object containing urine at the driver before running off. The driver was taken to Jacobi Medical Center.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-8477.
