Parade held on Crotona Parkway honoring veterans

As Veterans Day approaches, the work of men and women who have made it their duty to protect the United States isn't going unnoticed in the Bronx.

Veterans came in full gear Saturday for a parade down Crotona Parkway.

A marching band played while adults and children marched along the road, commemorating those who have served the United States.

Those marching in the parade agreed that a positive to come from war is lifelong friendship.
