Food for Thought: Seasonal smoothies

During the holiday season, people begin to indulge more.



Fitness expert Nadia Murdock recommends tasty smoothie recipes inspired by the fall and winter seasons as a way of staying on track.



Murdock's pumpkin power smoothie includes pumpkin puree, chia seeds, some banana and a gluten-free oatmeal cookie bar.



Her cinnamon chocolate mint smoothie has cinnamon cookies, chocolate-flavored protein powder, unsweetened almond milk and more.
