Annual holiday toy drive kicks off at Bronx Zoo

The borough president's annual holiday toy drive at the Bronx Zoo got underway today.

All donors who drop off a new, unwrapped item will get a free ticket to the zoo or the New York Aquarium.

The toys will be distributed through Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr.'s Office to local veteran and active-duty members of the military and their families.

Toys will be collected at the other parks, including the Central Park Zoo, Prospect Park Zoo and Queens Zoo.
