3 men hurt in East Tremont stabbing

Police are searching for multiple suspects involved in a stabbing that injured three men in East Tremont Sunday morning.

Investigators say they received several 911 calls just before 4 a.m. Sunday. The brawl happened outside a deli on the corner of Tremont and Lafayette avenues, about a block away from the 45th Precinct station house.

Detectives say there were three victims. A 38-year-old man suffered a broken arm and multiple lacerations to his body, arm, head and neck. The other victims, a 46-year old man and 27-year-old man, received cuts and lacerations to their hands and arms.

Investigators are currently searching for multiple suspects who were last seen taking off in a gray vehicle.

Police are hoping nearby surveillance cameras will assist them in getting the knife-wielding suspects off the streets.
