Fire damages apartment building in Crotona

Investigators are looking into what caused an apartment building fire in Crotona Tuesday.



Fire officials say the blaze started around 7:20 a.m. Tuesday and took about a half an hour to get under control.



The building is located a block north of Crotona Park at the Corner of East 175th Street and Marmion Avenue.



The super of the apartment building tells News 12 that two apartments were damaged in the fire.



The Red Cross is at the scene assisting families affected by the fire.
