BX woman worries for missing therapy dog

A Parkchester woman says one of the dogs found in a van full of trash and feces last week may be hers.

Yvette Perdomo says she left her Chihuahua with Emalinda Narvaez - the owner of Earth Angel Canine Rescue - to take care of him while she moved.

Narvaez died suddenly on Wednesday, leaving nine dogs untended inside her van. Police recovered a 10th dog from inside her home.

News 12 The Bronx reached out to different rescue organizations in hopes of finding Perdomo's therapy dog, Jack. So far, he's nowhere to be found.

Perdomo says she will not give up hope. She says Jack has a microchip and should be scanned if found.
