Crash victim married at Baychester rehab center

A Bronx woman, who barely survived a violent crash in August, was married Saturday at her rehabilitation center in Baychester.
Samadhy Pichardo was unconscious in a hospital bed for two weeks after she was pinned underneath a car driven by an alleged drunken driver.
The 41-year-old woman fought hard to walk again, eventually making it down a makeshift aisle. Nurses at the rehabilitation center witnessed the ceremony and did their part to make it special.
"I always believed she was sent from heaven to be in my life. I had to be there for her," said the happy groom.
Pichardo was able to walk out of the center Saturday night and return to her home.
