Resolution-makers seek to get fit in 2016

Some Bronx residents aren't wasting any time getting started on their fitness goals for 2016.

Blink Fitness on St. Ann's Avenue is welcoming residents who have a goal of getting in better shape.

Many gym enthusiasts at Blink Fitness say that working out helps them focus and stay positive in all aspects of their lives.

The gym's staff says everyone working out should enjoy the peace and quiet while they can because it won't last for long.

"There's going to be a flood of people Monday night," said personal trainer Seline Oruzar.

Trainers say that in order to stick to New Year's goals, whether or not they're fitness-related, it's important to envision where you see yourself in the future and to always keep an end goal in mind.
