Man accused of attempting to sexually assault 11-year-old Bronx girl

An 11-year-old girl was allegedly grabbed by a man who attempted to sexually assault her while she walked home from school in the Bronx.



Police say the girl was leaving school on Fox Street when an unknown man grabbed her by the neck and tried to press up against her with his exposed private parts. 



Police say the 11-year-old hit the man twice and ran away, but the man continued to follow her.



She ran into a nearby store and asked for help, according to police.
