Officials: Crane collapsed into Harlem River

The arm of a crane fell into the Harlem River Thursday in Morris Heights.

Officials say the unmanned equipment fell near 30 Richmond Plaza at the River Park Towers. The base remained in place on a barge.

They reported no injuries.

The crane's owners, New Jersey-based Weeks Marine, have not yet responded to a News 12 request for comment.
