Suspect accused of breaking into West Burnside Avenue businesses, stealing thousands of dollars

Police are looking for a man connected to a serial burglary pattern who got away with thousands of dollars.

They say the suspect broke into two buildings on West Burnside Avenue in Morris Heights on Jan. 4.

The suspect cut a hole into the wall of an office and stole about $20,000.

Police say he struck again, cutting through metal bars that surround a window air conditioner. He pushed the unit into the building, climbed down inside and stole about $7,000.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS
