A Bronx fourth-grader will star in an off-Broadway production featuring Ralph Macchio, of "Karate Kid" fame.
Nico Bustamente will play Little Carl in "A Room of My Own."
Nico says growing up in the borough helped him prepare for the role, especially when it comes to pronouncing lines with a Bronx accent.
But he has to balance his school work with the commute to Manhattan to rehearse every day.
Nico's only fellow Bronx resident in the cast, Joli Tribuzio, plays Little Carl's mother. She says she faced the same thing when she started acting.
