Thessalonia Baptist Church music director accused of raping 16-year-old Bronx girl

A 38-year-old New Rochelle music teacher allegedly raped a 16-year-old female student from the Bronx, according to police.
Police say they arrested Siepo Sampson on Dec. 31 at his home in Westchester, where he allegedly raped the girl on Oct. 28 and again on Dec. 15. They also accuse him of having sexual encounters with the girl inside Thessalonia Baptist Church off 163rd Avenue in Morrisania.
Sampson is the music director at Thessalonia. He knew the girl from the grammar school there, where he tutored her in music after school, according to the Westchester County District Attorney's Office.
Sampson is facing charges of third-degree rape and acting in a manner injurious to a child.
He's being held on $50,000 bail and his next court date is March 30.
