Weather Update: Wind advisory issued for the Bronx; thunderstorms expected

Forecasts show strong winds and a chance of thunderstorms tonight, according to meteorologists.



The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for the region until 4 a.m. Thursday.



News 12 meteorologists say winds could reach 40 mph. 



Overnight lows will be near 50, according to forecasts, and Thursday should have a chance of isolated showers with highs in the low 50s.
