Wall collapses near Kingsbridge building

A concrete wall collapsed Friday near an apartment building, rattling residents inside and leaving a large pile of rubble.

Chunks of concrete from the retaining wall came to rest in the back patio area near 3810 Bailey Ave. before noon. No injuries were reported.

Nearby residents said their apartments shook at the time of the collapse.

Police cordoned off the area, and engineers are evaluating the damage.
