Group promotes healthy living in the Bronx

The Mexican Coalition is trying to make the Bronx a healthier place by introducing a new program to promote a healthy lifestyle.

The organization kicked off its Preventative Health Program Saturday with the goal of learning how to be healthier living in the Bronx in 10 weeks.

Saturday's challenge was a $5 challenge, where participants had to shop to make a healthy meal for under $5.

Once they are done with the 10-week course and 55 hours of training, they can go out within the borough and teach others about living a healthy lifestyle.
