Police: 2 dead in apparent murder-suicide on Alexander Ave. and 141st Street in the Bronx

Two children are left without parents in what police are investigating as a murder-suicide involving a husband and wife.
It happened on Alexander Avenue and 141st Street in Mott Haven around 8 a.m. Monday.
Police say 34-year-old Nadia Saavedra and her 41-year-old husband, Alejandro Uribe, were found stabbed to death inside their home.
The couple from Mexico had two children who, according to a neighbor, were present at the scene during the time of the crime. The daughter reportedly told the neighbor that her dad was hurting their mom, and the teenage son had blood on one of his fists.
Police say Uribe stabbed his wife three times, killing her, and then drove the knife into his chest.
Multiple neighbors say this is not the first time officers have been called to the couple's apartment. They say about a month ago, police were called after an apparent domestic dispute.
