Dump truck tears down Sherman Ave. power lines

A dump truck tore down power lines on Sherman Avenue Monday, knocking out power and phone lines in the neighborhood.

Officials say the truck had the back flipped upright as it moved under the wires near the intersection with 167th Street around 3 p.m.

It's unclear how many customers were affected by the outage.

Crews were on scene Monday evening working to repair the damage.
