Officials say a man who slashed three people inside a Kingsbridge restaurant is on the loose.
Police say the suspect slashed the owner of El Economico Restaurant on Broadway and two other people after the owner refused to serve the suspect around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
The victims include a 60-year-old man, who was slashed on top of his head; a 35-year-old man, who was slashed from his eyelid to his cheek; and a 30-year-old man, whose face was slashed.
Two of the victims are recovering at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. All of the victims are expected to be OK.
Police say the suspect ran away southbound on Broadway.
The incident has left neighbors uneasy, with some saying they are concerned for the safety of their children.
