Man robs Metro PCS store clerk at knife point in the Bronx

Police are searching for a man who was caught on video robbing a Metro PCS store at knife point in the Bronx.



It happened on Wednesday at the Metro PCS on Jerome Avenue around 4 p.m.



Police say the man approached the clerk with a knife and forced him to hand over $560.



Surveillance video shows the suspect walk into the store with a knife in his hand. He then places the weapon to an employee's neck and opens the cash register.



In addition to stealing cash, police say the suspect took multiple cellphones.



Area businesses have placed wanted posters up, hoping someone recognizes the suspect.



Anyone with information is asked to contact the NYPD.
