2 kids killed in Bronx apartment fire

Officials say two young children have been killed in a fire in the Bronx that injured eight other people.
Police say the two girls, 18-month-old Amanda Jabie and 2-year-old Jannubi Jabie, died after being rushed to a hospital in critical condition.
The fire began in a third floor apartment of a building on Webster Avenue in Claremont at about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
FDNY Deputy Chief Gary Rocco said firefighters found heavy smoke and fire in the apartment.
A witness told WABC-TV he saw flames burst from the window and heard kids crying.
Six other people and two firefighters suffered minor injuries.
The blaze was brought under control in less than an hour.
It wasn't clear what caused the fire.
