Deadline nears to register to vote in November general election

Time is ticking if you plan to participate in the upcoming November elections and still haven't registered.

According to the New York Board of Elections, mail-in registration forms must be post-marked by midnight this Friday, Oct. 10 and received no later than Oct. 15

You can also still register in person at county board of elections or state agency offices.

This year's general election on Nov. 4 will include the races for governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general and city comptroller, along with a number of other local positions.
