Bronx actress Rachel Ticotin helps local kids follow acting dreams

A Bronx movie actress is returning to her roots to help local kids follow their dreams.
Actress Rachel Ticotin helped Bronx students at the Riverdale Children's Theatre by taking part in their workshops.
Those at the theatre say many kids in the Bronx do not have access to quality theater programs. They say theater and the arts are often the first thing cut from budgets.
Students at the theatre say the workshops help them make sure they are prepared, they know their material and are ready to represent themselves as best as possible in an audition.
Ticotin says the techniques learned in the workshops, such as responsibility and preparation, will help kids for the rest of their life.
