Community says they were left in dark over music festival

Lawmakers and members of the Kingsbridge community claim they were never notified about plans to hold a massive electronic music festival at the Kingsbridge Armory in November.

Time Warp will be having its 20th anniversary celebration at the armory, with as many as 10,000 people expected to attend. Community Board 7 and Councilman Fernando Cabrera say they were never told about it.

Cabrera says the community has a lot of concerns they want addressed, including transportation and safety. He also says he wants the party's organizers to notify city agencies and the community about the rave, which is happening on Nov. 28 and 29.

Community Board 7 members are hoping some good can also come from this, like a boost for local businesses.
