Reward offered for arrest of livery driver stabbing suspect

The Federation of Taxi Drivers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest of the suspect who stabbed a livery driver in the Bronx. 
Alex Acosta, 32, remains in critical condition Thursday after he was stabbed in the neck and robbed by a passenger.
Police say Acosta picked up a passenger at 171st Street and Webster Avenue Wednesday around 10:45 a.m. and was stabbed when it came time for the passenger to pay his fare at Crotona and Prospect avenues.  
The passenger made off with $40, police say. 
Acosta was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital with injuries to his neck and shoulder.
Officials say he is unable to speak and that he may require facial reconstruction surgery.
