Anti-bullying event comes to Brownsville school

An anti-bullying event was held at an elementary school in Brownsville.
Students at Brownsville Ascend Charter School learned Monday about leadership development, anti-bullying and self-esteem.
Raysa Martinez talked to children and shared her personal experiences of being bullied as a child.
Martinez says it may be difficult for adults to see if a child is a victim of bullying because kids do not talk about it.
Monday's event was part of worldwide campaign held in large cities and small villages across the world.
