A bilingual health conference at Lincoln Hospital focused on Alzheimer's disease Tuesday.

Health professionals and social workers attended, and native Spanish speakers were given headphones to hear live translations of the lecture.

More than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's, according to statistics. Most of them are older than 65.

Experts say it's important to know the difference between age-related forgetfulness and Alzheimer's or dementia.

Serious warning signs include placing items in odd places, like laundry in a refrigerator, according to professionals.
