Police are looking for the individuals involved in a violent robbery attempt on Jerome Avenue.

It happened just after midnight near Lehman College on Saturday.

Police say nine people approached two 20 year olds and tried to take a chain off of one victim's neck.

When the man tried to run, he was chased down the street and stabbed in the back.

The second victim suffered a minor head injury.
