Suspects sought in alleged Uber robbery in Williamsbridge

Police are asking for the public's help catching a pair of men that allegedly robbed an Uber driver in Williamsbridge.

Officials say the suspects called for an Uber pickup and after an altercation with the driver, they opened the car door and grabbed the driver's cellphone off the console.

News 12 is told the driver exited the car when one of the men threatened him with a baseball bat. 

The suspects then fled the scene. Both are described as young men in their late teens.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
