Antiviolence program arrives at Lincoln Hospital

The Guns Down, Life Up antiviolence program arrived at Lincoln Hospital this week to promote its mission.
The outreach program is already running at other city hospitals. It aims to mentor children and expose them to things that may keep them away from guns and out of gangs.
It also reaches out to people who find themselves hospitalized due to gun violence.
City health officials say there are plans to bring the program to five more hospitals before the year is over.
