Police say they caught the "coast to coast bandit" and identified him as a man from New York City.

They say they arrested a 50-year-old Brooklyn man wanted for allegedly robbing several banks in both New York and Los Angeles.

Officials say they captured Jon Waulters after he allegedly robbed a bank in Manhattan after leaving another nearby bank empty-handed.

    The landlord accused of fatally stabbing his tenant in the Bronx appeared before a judge Thursday. 

    Taha Mahran is charged with murder and manslaughter for allegedly stabbing his tenant Zakir Khan over an apparent rent dispute outside of their Logan Avenue apartment building in February.

    A Bronx man was arrested and charged after police say he shot and killed a man last month. Jonathan Jimenez was charged in the fatal shooting of Dytrell Jackson, according to police. Jimenez is accused of shooting Jackson near Andrews Avenue on May 20. Jackson suffered gunshot wounds to his leg and body and was pronounced dead at the hospital. Jimenez was charged with murder, manslaughter and weapons possession. 

    A Bronx man was arrested and charged after police say he shot and killed a man last month.
