Report: Man accused in Times Square crash was seeking mental help

The man accused of running down pedestrians in Times Square last week says he had been trying to get mental help.
Richard Rojas told The New York Post in a jailhouse interview that he recently spoke to a mental health counselor at a veterans center.
He admitted to smoking marijuana laced with PCP before the crash, adding that he doesn't remember the incident.
One person was killed and 22 others were injured in the crash. 
The Bronx native apologized to the victims and his mother in the interview.
