Police: Man wanted for stealing dessert machines from Walton Ave. apartment

Posted: Updated:
MOUNT EDEN -

A man was caught on surveillance video climbing into an apartment window and emerging moments later with a bag containing a milkshake machine and chocolate fondue machine.

Police say the suspect stole the items earlier this month at 1517 Walton Ave., which is a residential building.

In surveillance video, it is unclear whether the suspect broke the window open or if it was left open, but the thief jumped through, landing in the basement. Moments later he took off with a black garbage bag full of items.

News 12 is told the incident happened just before midnight on May 11.

Authorities say the suspect is still at large.

Anyone with information about the suspect or the stolen items is asked to call police.
