Pianos return to Bronx parks

A piano has returned to Joyce Kilmer Park as part of the city's Sing for Hope program.
A total of six pianos have been placed in the Bronx, and 50 additional pianos, around the five boroughs as a way to encourage exposure to the arts.
Each piano is decorated by a local artist.
The one in Joyce Kilmer Park was decorated by Bronx photographer Trevon Blondet, who covered the musical instrument with 80 portraits he and other Bronx photo league members took while documenting the people of Jerome Avenue.
The pianos will remain until June 25 when they will be donated to schools across the city.
