Man accused of forcibly touching woman on street corner

MELROSE -

A man is accused of forcibly touching a woman on a Melrose street corner, police say.

The incident happened on May 26, near 840 Westchester Ave. around 11:45 a.m.

The woman told police she was walking along the street when a man approached her from behind and placed his hands in between her legs and grabbed her. The suspect ran off after the incident.

He is reported to be 25 years old, 5'4'' tall and has brown eyes with a dark complexion.

He was last seen wearing a black hat, beige shorts, black sneakers and a black T-shirt.
