Bronx Brewery, Zaro’s Bakery collaborate on special beer

Bronx Brewery and Zaro's Bakery have teamed up to create a special-edition beer for the latter's 90th anniversary.
The two companies started working on the collaboration three months ago. The fourth-generation bakery wanted something special to commemorate the occasion: the BX27 Citra Pale Ale.
The team says the new crisp summer brew pairs with some bakery classics like black and white cookies and pretzels. It boasts a 6 percent alcohol content that the developers say makes it light and juicy.
The beer is available for a limited time at the bakery's commuting locations inside Grand Central and Penn stations. The promotion will run until the beer sells out. Bronx Brewery says it created just a few hundred cases.
