Neighbors: Abandoned Williamsbridge property attracts rats, trespassers

Neighbors say an abandoned garbage-filled home in Williamsbridge is attracting rats and trespassers in the community.
The eyesore at 720 East 216th St. is covered in trash and lined with notices from the city.
According to the Department of Buildings, the location has violations and complaints going back to 2013.
Neighbors say people use the property to dump trash, sleep and use drugs. It's also directly across the street from an elementary school and Richard Green Middle School.
The most recent complaint with the Department of Buildings was entered Wednesday. Neighbors say they hope someone steps in to clean up the blighted property.
