A fire broke out in a five-story apartment building in Allerton Sunday.

Officials say the fire started at 1:30 p.m. on the third floor of the Olinville Avenue building.

Neighbors say the building has had its share of issues before the fire.

"We have a problem with electrical wiring and water damage in this building so the fire department came out and they couldn't find where the fire was so they busted in the apartments and put the fire out," said Luevonia Brown.

Fire officials say no injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
